Lynn, just finished yer book Deliver Me from Negitve Self Talk. I loved it cause you shared yer real time experiences. To me, that's what peels my potatoes cause all you've said in yer book is not just some useless Christian physicobable, but tried, true, and successful experiences. THAT'S WHAT COUNTS!
ReplyDeleteThank you Lynn. Looking forward to reading more of yer stuff.
YOU INDEED ROCK!!!
With a grateful heart, thank you.
Dear Ms. Davis,
ReplyDeleteI absolutely loved your book. I listened to over and over a lot on my kindle fire. ( it's automated). You really gave a great amount of veritable tools for Christian living that we all go through. It seemed as though there was a new anointing on every verse as you applied it to God's incredible Word throughout your book every time I listened ( and read it). Thank you so very much. I'm sorry for what you have been through, but the bigger the problem, the greater the Glory to God. I love the testimony on your home- Praise You God! for saving it! and your undying belief in your child who was in trouble.
I'm sorry for the comment that caught you and me off guard of what that person said to you. My first response was that it was erroneous and I felt it was a lazy comment. ( I'm being candid). Had they actually applied the principle's in your book? It's humbling' granted, but to hurt you with a coarse comment- my apologies. There was one verse in Proverbs that my eye kept catching yet until I read your book , it finally made sense. It s Proverbs 19:24 (NLV) : "Lazy people take food in their hand but don't even lift it to their mouth." We all " eat " from the same Bread and " every word that comes out of the mouth of God." Your work was that bread & God's Word , but if people don't want to apply the Word to their problems and " work with all diligence " then how are they going to have faith, grow, know The Lord more? We need to use His word, pray and "taste and see that He is good." And The Lord is!
I would rather "give wounds to a friend ( that person) than have experienced " kisses from an enemy" as it says in Proverbs.
Ms. Davis, I pray that God will fill you with His Peace, surround you with His angels, and bless you as an instrument of His workmanship to reach others. Blessings to you and your immediate family-Alexa
Hi Alexa,
DeleteThank you so much for the wonderful and thoughtful encouragement. It blesses me so to hear that you enjoyed and were inspired by the book! I love this scripture you quoted from Proverbs 19:24 (NLV) "Lazy people take food in their hand but don't even lift it to their mouth." We all " eat " from the same Bread and " every word that comes out of the mouth of God."
You really made my evening. Thank you so much for your prayers and support. God bless you and your family as well. I hope you will continue to be a part of my reader family. Your sister in Christ, Lynn
Hi, Lynn! I finished "Lord Deliver me from Negative Emotion" last night. It was as if you wrote it just for me. The morning after first starting the book, I awoke with a different attitude...more positive, forgiving, and relaxed. This book truly amazed me how it has already positively affected me. I really need that! You truly have a gift and I cannot wait to read more of your works. God bless you, and please keep writing!
ReplyDeleteHI Donna! Thank you so much. I'm happy to hear the wonderful report. You made my evening. I will be praying for you as you continue your spiritual journey. God is so awesome isn't He? Be sure to download my latest book from Amazon Free Thursday and Friday. God bless!
ReplyDeleteHi Lynn, A friend of mine was telling me about this book she was reading that is really helping her. As she began describing it, she was filled with Scripture and I could genuinely see hope on her face. She has had a very overwhelming and difficult year (life really). For myself, I have to be honest, I was skeptical as there are so many "new age" and "self-help" philosophies out there that are masquerading with the name of our Lord that as her friend in Christ, I looked up your name and books. I have to say, so far, I am very very relieved and believe you may be the real deal in Christ! Knowing that He is the deliverer, He is the source of Hope, Strength, Truth, Love, Light that takes down all the strongholds of darkness. I am going away this weekend so am going to download the book she is reading and read it. I would love to read your testimony but could not find it on your blog, is it on there? Nancy

DeleteHi Nancy! Thank you for writing. I'm humbled to hear that your friend experienced such wonderful revelation of hope through God's power. I truly believe we overcome by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony. I share my experiences in hope that others can somehow find hope and inspiration. He loves us all and what He does for me, He will do for anyone. It's never occurred to me, before your message, that I haven't written a testimony. I've just been sharing experiences in my books. So unfortunately, I cannot direct you to one in particular, but I will now write one to include on this blog. Also, I've been struggling with, well procrastinating (smile),trying to finish a manifesto. Now because of your message, I have direction. It will be a collection of personal testimonials. Thank you so much! I will send an email notification when it's complete. God bless and traveling Grace!
