Free Christian Ebook on Amazon: Lord Deliver Me From Negative Self-Talk 2: Unleash Your Power (Inspiration for Women)

Free Wednesday August 6th
New Christian Ebook, Inspiration For Women, Self Help

New Release, Lord Deliver Me From Negative Self Talk 2: Unleash Your Power (Inspiration For Women)

Ladies this one is just for us. I read your comments and you wanted more scripture. I've added more. You liked the self-talk guides so I included them. You wanted more about what causes negative self-talk. I included that. Plus I added some interested things at the end of each chapter to help you get more from the book.

So what's it about? Its about the issues that we face as women with our self-image, self-esteem, and decision-making. We have a lot on our shoulders, but with God's help we can excel and be the women of purpose and power that God created us to be.

We also take a look at some examples of women from the bible like Ruth, Naomi, and Eve and how their lives were effected by their thoughts, emotions and the words they used.

This is the latest edition to the Negative Self Talk Series. I'm looking forward to hearing your feedback. Thanks everyone for your love and support. Your emails and Facebook posts really are an inspiration to me. God bless.

Your Sister In Christ, Lynn

Negative Self Talk Books Get A Facelift: New Titles and Cover Makeovers

Hi everyone. Its been a busy and hot week here in Texas. But I will take the heat over winter any day. I hope you guys are having pleasant weather and that you are doing well and that you're living your best life in the will of God.

I've been busy giving some of the more popular titles a makeover. I wanted the titles to be indicative of the subject matter and for some reason, the previous titles just didn't convey the message of the content the way that I wanted them to.

The first and most popular title, Deliver Me From Negative Self Talk is pretty much the same, save the subtitle, which is now Deliver Me From Negative Self-talk: Faithful Words You Should Say When You Talk To Yourself. Oh and my long-time readers will note that the cover art has gone back to the original design. I also added 30 days of Devotionals at the end. You will remember there were previously only 7 days. I  unpublished one of my devotionals (I Might Bend But I Wont Break) and I added it to this book. I think the additional devotionals will bless the readers and add more value.

In keeping with the first book's design, the second book is Lord Deliver Me From  Negative Emotions: Controlling Negative Emotions and Finding Peace in the Midst of Storms. We all have experienced emotional stress. Hopefully, you were able to control your emotions and avoid a dangerous meltdown. This book will bless you by teaching you how to control negative emotions and channel anger and fear so that they produce more positive outcomes. Learn to set boundaries for negative people and how to live peacefully even when everything around you seem to be falling apart.

Deliver Me From Negative Health Talk: Guide To Speaking Healing Words of Faith, is also going through a change. It's cover will be more like the previous two titles. The new title is "Choose Words of Life: How to Declare Your Healing and Stand In Faith Until It Manifests".

For some reason the original title, Negative Health Talk, just didn't work for readers I suppose. "Your Words Can Heal Your Body" resonates more with me and hopefully it will with readers too.

Not many people downloaded it, but those of you who did gave wonderful reviews. So I know its not that the book is bad, just that something is drawing the audience. Hence the new book cover and some updates internally.

Finally, The book that has gone through the most changes is my personal testimony. I've gone back and forth with the title as many of you know. Trying to find one that works and draws interest. This book was Faith Under Fire, Oh God Please Help Me, Sow Much More....and now I think the final title, The 7 Most Powerful Faith Principles That Changed A Stressed-out Mom's Life Forever.

I look forward to hearing from you guys. Thank you so much for the kind emails and Facebook posts. Your support blesses me and keeps my encouraged. I need your encouragement too :-) Love you guys. Thank you again for all of your support and prayers. Talk with you again soon.

Change Your Self Talk Change Your Life

negative self talk

Positive vs Negative Self talk

Self talk is something we all do.

We are always explaining things to ourselves, and making comments to ourselves. The question is, what are we saying? What we say to ourselves radically affects the quality of our lives, and our ability to do things effectively.

Are you using positive self-talk or negative self-talk? Below are some of the things that positive and negative people say. Look at the difference, and start talking to yourself in more constructive ways, if you don’t already.

Positive Self Talk

Positive people explain bad things by externalizing them (“The weather caused it.”). They consider them temporary (“That was a rough couple hours.”). They see them as isolated (“THAT part of the plan didn’t work, but…”). When they explain good things, they internalize them (“Life is great!”), consider them to be more or less permanent changes (“Now I know how to do this.”), and generalize from them (“Things are working out well.”).

“I’ve done well with this.”

“This has become a great business to be in.”

“I like the way things are going.”

“That just went bad due to the weather.”

“It was rough for an hour or two.”

“The car broke down, but the trip was fun.”

Negative Self Talk

Negative people explain bad things by internalizing them (“It’s me again.”). They consider them permanent (“It’s always this way.”). They generalize (“Life sucks.”). When they explain good things, they externalize them (“That’s just lucky.”), consider them temporary (“That went well TODAY.”), and see them only in a specific context (“At least THIS went right.”).

“It’s ALWAYS a mess when I meet someone new.”

“This party is great, not like mine.”

“This is fun for now.”

“Well, THAT went okay, I guess.”

“I screwed up again.”

“This good weather won’t last.”

If you start explain things to yourself differently, you’ll see a difference in your attitude today. Make positive self talk your normal mode of operation, and you’ll see a difference in your life. One of the fastest ways to change your experience of life is to change your self talk.
